About: Carmina Cinzia Hirschvogl
I am an experienced interpreter for Romanian, English and German, specialising in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. With a solid professional background and recognised qualifications, I support companies and institutions at international events. My goal is to ensure accurate and smooth communication.
I grew up bilingual in Romania, speaking Romanian and German, and have been living in Vienna since 2010, which I am proud to call my home.


My Experience
as an Interpreter
I have a Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting from the University of Vienna and have been working as a freelance interpreter since 2013.
My interpreting assignments include:
- High-level state visits: Austrian Presidential Office, Presidency of Romania, Austrian Parliament, Austrian Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Agriculture
- EWC meetings in the fields of finance, construction, energy, packaging, automotive industry, mechanical engineering and rail transport
- International conferences in various fields: European labour law, technology, medicine, environment, fashion, marketing, aviation, etc.
I am also a university lecturer at the Centre for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna, where I train future interpreters. I also conduct research on the use of artificial intelligence in interpreting practice.
